Signal Workdeck began after adviser Mara Vogel repeatedly saw strong international hires prepare for the wrong residence route because a permit name sounded familiar. The practice exists to slow down that first decision: read the contract, connect it to the qualification, and make uncertainties visible before documents reach an authority.
Relevant experience
Mara has supported international employees and German HR teams with mobility preparation since 2018. Her work covers EU Blue Card assessments, qualified-professional routes, qualification evidence, employer declarations and appointment preparation. Signal Workdeck provides independent practical guidance and refers cases requiring legal representation to qualified immigration counsel.
How we work
We distinguish published requirements from judgement calls. Every recommendation identifies the facts it relies on, what still needs confirmation, and which official body can answer it. Advice is shaped around the applicant’s actual job, family timing and place of application rather than a universal checklist.
Values in practice
Specificity. Salary, duties, qualification and location are discussed in their real wording.
Proportion. We request only the documents needed for the chosen scope.
Honesty. Where the answer belongs to a German mission, foreigners authority or lawyer, we say so plainly.
